I am a born and raised Minnesotan. I grew up in the country suburbs of Minneapolis. Summer days were spent exploring the neighborhood, enjoying the sunshine with friends and family, and heading to the cabin. I’ve always been an active person – three sport athlete in high school and even competed on my college Track & Field team for one year. In the winter months, I spend my time coaching Volleyball at a JO Club. You will never find me without a book or my Kindle in my hands. I love getting lost in a wonderful story. Romance is my jam, but I am always open to different genres and authors. You can find reviews on what I’m reading over on my blog.
I now live in the suburbs of Minneapolis not far from the home I grew up in. I married my high school sweetheart in 2017 and we are enjoying our life together. We are both very active and enjoy going up to the cabin in the summers, traveling as much as we can and spending time with family and friends. We also love to cuddle up on the couch with our Miniature Schnauzer, Eevee, for a movie night. If you don’t know where the name comes from, it’s a Pokemon. My husband named her and he is obsessed with the game from our childhood.
I have a business degree in Marketing with a minor in Business Administration. I worked in the corporate business world for about four years before deciding to branch out on my own. My focus was in the Marketing Department and I built the company’s Social Media from scratch. Before I left, I took over the website and was the one who wrote, edited and published content. Writing and editing became something I loved to do, so that is where my focus went when I decided to leave the corporate business world.
Working in that world helped to hone my skills and knowledge on business management. I am confident in my skills as a business owner and operator. I have always loved to read, so that is where my mind went when I started building my own business. I have found many Indie Authors that tell wonderful stories and I can’t wait to find even more.
Since I love Indie Authors so much, that is who I knew I wanted to work with when starting my business. I want to help authors like you publish the best work that they can. That comes by taking over the editing part of the publication process. I go through your work with a magnifying glass to not only correct the grammar, spelling and little errors but also the big details. Making sure the name on the first page stays the same throughout the story as well as the other defining characteristics of the characters and even the settings of the world you are building.
As an avid reader myself, there is nothing that makes me trip up on a story more than an error that was missed in the editing process. I understand that as humans, mistakes and little misses can be made. I can say, that I can catch those mistakes and your best work will be published.
I’ve always been a storyteller. As a kid, my imagination took me on many journeys and I love being taken on a journey through a good story. I have listened to many audiobooks and a great narrator takes you on that wonderful journey. I am also a narrator and I can bring your story to life. Already have a narrator that you love? Great! I will take on the editing of the narration as well to make sure everything is pronounced correctly, the flow of the audio is great and if there is anything that needs to be changed, we can get that done before the audio is published. Audiobooks are on the rise again and many authors are publishing the audio form of their story as well as the written word.
If you want to know more or are interested in working with me, send me an email and we can get started.
